- Billing Cycle Code 1: January, May, and September
- Billing Cycle Code 2: April, August, and December
- Billing Cycle Code 3: March, July, and November
- Billing Cycle Code 4: February, June, and October
Payment is due by the 20th of the billing month. If the 20th falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, such that City Hall is closed, your payment will be considered timely if paid the following business day.

Setup Online Bill Pay with Your Personal Financial Institution* Please set up several days in advance of your due date. Your bank will need time to process your request and send a paper check through the mail for your payment.
To set up Online Bill Pay with your personal financial institution, you will need a copy of the South Milwaukee Water Utility bill that was issued to you. Visit your bank’s website, locate the "Bill Pay" information, add "new payee," and type "South Milwaukee Water Utility" as the payee. You must include the proper mailing address for the South Milwaukee Water Utility and the water bill’s full account number and address (if space allows.)
This service is set up directly through your personal bank, and each payment will need to be initiated by the customer. This service will not automatically send future payments to the South Milwaukee Water Utility.
