The City of Norfolk has completed a Multimodal Transportation Master Plan to help define the direction that the City’s transportation system will take over the coming years. This Plan provides the framework for both large and small transportation decisions about projects, priorities, coordinated planning with respect to land use decisions, public/private initiatives, other infrastructure projects, and more.
Multimodal Norfolk is:

- a new process, and
- a new list of projects
Multimodal Norfolk creates a new way of identifying and building multimodal transportation projects in Norfolk that is:
- Equitable
- Transparent
- Built on public input
- Related to the Plan goals
