Birmingham, AL — The City of Birmingham will host a warmth supply drive on Tuesday, Nov. 28 through Thursday, Nov. 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of Boutwell Auditorium. Collections will be used to support warming stations coordinated by the city and its community partners and to help those experiencing homelessness. Of the items requested, cases of bottled water are the most critically needed.
Donors can drive in front of Boutwell and someone will unload their vehicle. Boutwell’s address is 1930 Rev. Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd.
Volunteers will be accepting:
- Bottled water
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- New or gently-used coats
- New gloves and winter caps
- Hand warmers
