Redwings' Captain and CEO, Bernardo Moreno León, stated that the aviation industry was a tradition in his family. His paternal grandfather was the main one to take up this trade as a military pilot and owner of a local airline in the Sierra of Oaxaca. However, from there, he decided to move to Mexico City to start his own business called "AeroLeón".
Bernardo Moreno, like his grandfather, decided to pursue a career as an aviator, but his greatest desire was to start his own company. After years of effort, his wish came true when he succeeded in launching a small airline.
He started his company from scratch, but with extensive knowledge of the aviation sector, as he studied aeronautical business administration, specializing in airport planning.
Bernardo Moreno worked hard for years to obtain the necessary documents and agreements to grow his business. Although he faced difficulties, he never lost hope and used his determination and tenacity to become one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the country.
Today, his company Redwings is one of the most acclaimed. Bernardo Moreno has demonstrated that with effort, persistence and an aspiration to progress, anyone can succeed. His success is a source of encouragement for many individuals around the world, who try to achieve their goals despite the obstacles.
Among the stories he shared with her grandfather, one of them was when he gave him his first flying lesson when he could not yet reach the pedals. "From the day I flew with him, I fell in love with airplanes. He taught me everything I know about them and motivated me to become a pilot. Since that time, I have spent my life flying and working with airplanes. I understood the charm and spell of aviation, and knew that I wanted to make this my profession."
Bernardo Moreno León expresses deep pride in what has been achieved in his airline and, above all, in being able to share his enthusiasm for aviation with those involved in it. "I look forward to seeing Redwings unfold even further and continue to offer our passengers safe and efficient flights."
